Dan McNamara
Dan has been a drummer for over 20 years. The first instrument he picked up was the clarinet, but it didn’t stick. Two years later, he picked up a guitar and really never put it down. Around the time he turned 14, he fell in love with the rock genre, and simply needed to be able to play alongside his favorite songs. Always wanting to be on stage but never wanting to be up front, the drums provided the perfect balance. He started playing the bass at this time, too. He studied music in school starting in grade 8 and never stopped studying. To this day, Dan continues to learn and refine all modes of his musical craft on his own, but he’s also studied collegiately. After graduating from Clarke University with a minor in music, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production from Full Sail University. He’s also the founder and drummer of a metal band called M.O.A. (local to Spokane, WA). Currently, you can find him around town here in Dubuque drumming in The DZ Combo and On the Rocks. Music is both his hobby and his job, and he loves that.

Nate Sims
A computer lab Mac exposed Nate to Garageband, introducing him to music production, recording, and audio engineering in his early teens. Producing several albums in high school led him to Belmont University, from which he graduated with degrees in Music Business and Entrepreneurship. While interning at music marketing, management, and social media agencies in Nashville and New York, Nate always found time to record and mix music. An obsession with hip hop blossomed into an appreciation for all genres, but particularly the human voice. Hours in the studio found him recording and mixing for a few of his favorite artists, DJing around the country, and most recently sequencing and editing music for a play abroad. His favorite musical experiences are seeing his productions live for the first time and opening for Travis Scott. His biggest musical regret is quitting piano lessons!

Jeremy Jones
Jeremy has been playing bass guitar for over 30 years, Starting way back in the 90's he toured for 14 years with the christian rock band Sons & Daughters and more recently has played with such musicians as Elizabeth Mary, The DZ Combo, DR band, The Struggle, and more. He has been both an elementary and middle school music teacher, along with offering private lessons. In 2022-23, he had the honor of serving as the Show Band Director for Wahlert Catholic High School Impulse.
