Keep Your Head In The Wind is a short, yet powerful read that offers timeless advice on how to address the deeply-rooted challenges leaders face. The book provides ancient wisdom, thought-provoking practices, and brief lessons to help readers cultivate inner peace, holistic perspectives, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Having to navigate unprecedented levels of change and technological advancement, the mindful leader gains strength in applying fundamental lessons that have stood the test of time. Harnessing the power of nature and the philosophies that build resilience, Keep Your Head In The Wind is a special resource for those seeking to become more mindful.

About the Author

In 2019, Michael walked away from a management role at a prolific consulting firm to spearhead a lifelong dream. He launched his first book and business named Catching Leadership and shortly thereafter became a father. Understanding the importance of mental health and well-being, Michael makes it a priority to integrate elements of mindfulness and nature into the leadership programs he designs for clients. Serving as an executive coach, talent management consultant, and keynote speaker, Michael’s goal is to make the world a better place, one leader, organization, and community at a time.

About the Benefit | Saturday, April 13 | 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Justin Penoyer, an acupuncturist with a private practice in Chinese medicine, wrote the foreword for Keep Your Head In The Wind, and has helped Michael through his own holistic health journey. This book launch event is a benefit for Justin Penoyer’s wife, Stephanie Ellis, and their family, who are currently residing in Hanover, IL. Stephanie has been navigating a cancer journey since August 2022 when she was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. After some initial success with alternative treatments in Germany, Stephanie has unfortunately experienced a recurrence this past year. All proceeds from book sales will be donated directly to Stephanie and her family to assist with the cost of her upcoming treatments.
